"Pathways to $elf $ufficiency"

FUTURE$ is a collaborative program that was developed to unite local organizations to promote self sufficiency education. Through the combined efforts of local non-profit agencies such as Dazzle Tech, Catholic Family Center and the Credit Education Bureau, FUTURE$ has adopted a mission of encouraging self sufficiency and economic empowerment. FUTURE$ educates community residents in life skills, soft skills and conflict management.

The FUTURE$ curriculum consists of three educational tracks that form a self-sufficiency model: financial management, entrepreneurship and employability skills training.

Eligibility
FUTURE$ is primarily for residents of the Rochester and surrounding community, adults and youth, age 15 and older. Residents who are unemployed or underemployed Residents transitioning from social services to the world of work Residents with disabilities.

Goals
To infuse its benefits into 100 venues in the Rochester community area, reaching at least 1,500 residents each year.

Implementation
If your organization provides support services through group meetings, but does not offer financial management, entrepreneurship or employability skills training, FUTURE$ can be a new benefit to your clients.

By calling (585) 288-0050, you can schedule an on-site training at your location. Each instruction module requires approximately one hour of teaching time, but can be tailored to accommodate your group's specific needs.

Service Costs
The FUTURE$ program is offered at-cost to non-profit service agencies in Rochester and the surrounding area.

At-cost fee for non-profit agencies: $55 per class or $1 per participant
